先日、住んでいるNYからナイアガラの滝へバスで行ってきたのですが、片道8時間の長旅だったので念の為酔い止めを買って飲みました。私は日本では車酔いすることはなかったのですが、前にNY郊外へリンゴ狩りに行った際片道2時間の道のりでかなり気分が悪くなってしまいました。こちらは道路事情が大変悪く、運転も荒いので、かなり車体が上下左右に揺れます。ということで、今回買ったのは黄色いパッケージのDramamineの眠くなりにくいタイプ。私は飛行機やバスなど乗り物の中で寝れないタイプだったのですが、Dramamineの効き目が強く、バスの車内でぐっすり寝てしましました。乗り物の中で寝れないことが長年の悩みだったので、すごく嬉しい！でも眠くなりにくいタイプでこれなら、普通のはどれだけ眠くなるんだろう・・・。
I went to Niagara Falls from NY by bus. I took medicine to prevent motion sickness because it was an 8-hour long-distance trip for one way. When I was in Japan I never experienced motion sickness, but I felt sick when I went to an apple-picking in the suburb of New York City. Although it was just a 2-hour distance. In the U.S., a car's body is often shaken because the road condition is so bad, and a diver drives roughly. That's why I bought some medicine to prevent motion sickness which has a yellow package and is less drowsy. I'm a type of not being able to sleep in transportation like buses and planes, but Dramamine had a strong effect, so I slept soundly on the bus. I was very glad because I worried about not being able to sleep in the vehicle for a long time. I wonder How much I feel drowsy if I took a regular one because I took a less drowsy one.
