今日は久しぶりに魔女の宅急便を見ました。最後に見たのはいつだったか全く覚えていませんが、おそらく15年以上は前だと思います。大人になってから見る魔女の宅急便はものすごく背景の絵が綺麗で、内容もよく作りこまれていて感動しました。私は一度見た映画は何度も見ない派ですが、今回は英語のリスニングを兼ねて3度ほど観ました。このストーリーを通して作者が何を訴えたいのか、キャラクターのセリフの意図とか味わうところが沢山あって、本当に面白かったです。主人公のキキの素直さとか礼儀正しさにも日本人の美徳が表れているように思います。外国人がこれを観たらどう思うのか、興味深いです。
I've watched KiKi's delivery service for the first time in a long time today. I didn't remember that when I watched it last time, but I think it was over 15 years ago. I was impressed that the picture of the background was amazing, and the story was elaborated well.
I don't like to watch the same movie over and over again, but I did this time three times for training in listening to English. It was really interesting that I enjoyed thinking about what the director meant and what the characters' lines meant. I thought that Kiki's behavior like honesty and politeness expressed Japanese virtue. I'm curious about how foreigners feel when watching it.
