EXPRESS YOURSELF IN ENGLISH

My favorite band is on tour at the moment.

Sensei: What does "tour" exactly mean?

Roza: Well, "tour" means going around several different places. so a band on tour will would be going around contries the country or going around the world.

Chris: That's right. I mean the original meaning of "tour" is just around, so, to go around from place to place. And I wonder how many of our  listeners have made a the connection between this word and "tourist". A Tourist is a person who goes around visiting from place to place.

I know how to play "Bappy Birthday" on the guiter.

Sensei: So, "on the guiter" here is similar to " on the computer", right?

Chris: Absolutely.

Roza: That's right. It's the same kind of platform, image.

Sensei: Have you been to Vietnam?

Roza: I have never been to Vietnam. How about you, Chris?

Chris: Yeah, I've been to Vietnam and I did a wonderful tour of Vietnam. from the north Hanoi, right the way down through Da Nang and Hue, all the way to Ho Chi Minh City. One of the things you notice in Vietnam is a number of scooters. It can take you ages to cross the street because no one will stop for you, you know.

"would"を"will"と聞き間違えてました。また、冠詞"a"と"the"がうまく聞き取れていませんでした。

"of our"は発音がリエゾンしていたため、"of"を聞き逃してしまいました。
