ハーリン・ライリー(Herlin Riley、1957 年 2 月 15 日生まれ) は、アメリカのジャズ・ドラマーであり、ウィントン・マルサリス率いるリンカーン・センター・ジャズ・オーケストラのメンバーです。 

 

ニューオーリンズ出身のライリーは、3 歳のときにドラムを始めました。高校までトランペットを吹いていましたが、大学でドラムに戻りました。卒業後はアフマド・ジャマル率いるバンドのメンバーとして3年間を過ごしました。

 

彼は、ジャズ・アット・リンカーン・センター・オーケストラおよびマルサリスの小グループのメンバーとして、ウィントン・マルサリスと頻繁に共演してきました。彼はジョージ・ベンソン、ハリー・コニック・ジュニア、マーカス・ロバーツとも仕事をしました。

 

ライリーは、ピューリッツァー賞を受賞したウィントン・マルサリスのアルバム『ブラッド・オン・ザ・フィールズ』のドラム・パートの開発に大きな役割を果たしました。
