Well, since I slept kind of late...
( ´艸｀) oops... I ended up making BRUNCH.
BRUNCH is a combination of Breakfast and Lunch.
For those of us who tend to get up at odd times, it is a way
of life.
But it is rather common in America for Eateries to have a
Brunch Menu.
I bought some croissants... because they're a pain-in-the-ass
to make...lol.
I cut the croissants, put them into the oven to crisp them up.
Put cheese and ham on them plus a fried egg.
ヾ(＠^▽^＠)ﾉ YUM!
The little things are mini tater-tots.
Similar to french fries - but one of the only times I use ketchup.
I like to make things with the tater-tots too.
Kind of like a cultural challenge.
It is fun.
People don't expect them when you make dinner. lol.
But they are great for snacking.
Football food or for baseball games.
They still work with beer! ha ha
Tend to put chili on them or make them into "totchos"
- tater tot nachos o(〃＾▽＾〃)o hee hee. Very fun.
They are crisp, mini cylinders of hash browns.
Kids like them because you can use your fingers to eat them
and they are crispy.
Adults like them because they are a 'Comfort Food' item.
One of the things that we usually remember from being a kid
with a weird fondness. о(ж＞▽＜)ｙ ☆
I usually dip my french fries in honey - or just eat them
without anything.
I get a lot of people upset when I dip my chicken nuggets
(McDonald's) in honey.... yum.
Or in Malt Vinegar. Yum!
Not all McDonald's carry honey anymore.
You have to ask for it.
They use it for their breakfast menu.
At least here they do.
A lot of employees won't even realize they have it unless they work
in the mornings or are a manager.
I always make them look.
(*^▽^*)b I'm a bit demanding.
But I don't like honey-mustard or bbq sauce on the chicken nuggets.
Or on my fries either.
I'm a picky eater.
Which is why I learned to cook so early.
I had to. ( ´艸｀) Make it myself or eat what my mom made.
I made my own... lol.
Often made my step-dad food too.
Let's just say my mom is better at baking than cooking. LOL.
Cooking doesn't really interest her.
SO that is where I get that trait from.... (・・。)ゞha ha
