１代目のスパイクは、すぐに靴ひもが解けるので、小学５年生後半で履くのをやめた
My first pair of spiked shoes had laces always getting loose right away, so I stopped wearing them from the second part of the year of my fifth grade in elementary school
２代目のスパイクは、サッカーを引退するまで履き続けた
I wore my second pair of spiked shoes until I retire from soccer
裏のポイントが削れる（擦り減る）まで、ずっと使っていきたい
I want to use them until the cleats are worn down.

初めて大会に出場した時のこと、自分が失敗したこと、夏休みの練習など、いろいろな思い出が詰まっている
They are filled with various memories, like when I participated to a tournament for the first time, when I failed, when I used to practice during summer holidays, among many others.

In hard and good times, they were always by my side/I have always been wearing them

いろいろな苦労を共にしたシューズ
These shoes and I shared the same hardships
これを見ると、走り込みなど、自分が積み重ねてきた努力を思い起こさせてくれる
When I look at them, I can recall all the efforts I accumulated/made, like when I was doing long training runs

何万本と振った
I made tens of thousands of swings with it
普通は毎日使い続けると１年から１年半ほど保てば良い方だが、５年以上使っている
Usually, people say that if it is used everyday and can last one to one year and a half, it is a good sword, but it has been more than 5 years that I have been using this one now
一度、竹刀の竹がかなりの部分割れてしまったことがあったが、修繕して今も使っている
One time, most of the bamboo parts of the sword broke, so I repaired it and still use it

弓道は高校から始めた部活
Kyudo is an after-class club activity I started to join when in high school

I wore this hakama during competitions/every time I participated to competitions
６位で特別賞を受賞した
I finished 6th and won/received a special prize
そのメダルは家に飾っている
The medal is displayed at home

A mountain bike I got as a present to celebrate my entry/admission to middle school
何度もパンクしたけれどその都度直し、去年まで乗り続けていた
It went flat many times, but I repaired it every time and have been riding it until last year

We practiced with the joint team during weekdays as well
しかし新人戦で勝ち、メンバーと喜びを分かち合った
But we won the rookie tournament and could share the joy with all the members

一緒に寝たり、一緒にぬいぐるみで遊んだ
We slept together, and played with plush dolls together
これからの（一緒に過ごす）時間も大切にしたい

寂しい時はずっと一緒にいてくれる
He is always by my side, whenever I feel lonely

There is a dog he is in love with, but it seems that dog does not like HACHI
別の良い相手がこれから見つかれば良いと思う
I hope he will find another good partner from now on
お世話は大変だが、とても頭が良く、なつっこい

いつもは近寄らないのに、時に飼い主に甘えてくるところがかわいい
She is so cute when she is such a baby with her master sometimes, while usually she does not come close
