- About the Sentences
- These sentences come from the Tanaka Corpus and Tatoeba.org members.
- Please read Using the Tanaka Corpus: Warning / Caution so you clearly understand that this data is not error-free.
- However, in March of 2013, I rebuilt this set of pages using only sentences "owned" by native Japanese speakers working on the Tatoeba Project, so these sentences should be good.
- How to Help
- When you find an error, you can click the sentence number to go to Tatoeba.org and make a correction.
- If it is not an error, but just unnatural sounding, then click the number for the other language and submit an alternate translation.
- About These Pages
- I sorted the sentences according to the Grade, Stroke and Frequency (GSF) sequence for the kanji that was created by Con Kolivas.
- I limited the length of sentences to those with more than 3 and less than 63 characters. I also included only up to 50 items per page, starting with the shortest sentences.
- Items are not included on a page if they contain kanji that have not yet been introduced. For this reason, you will notice there are a few kanji on the GSF sequence list that get skipped and do not have their own page.
- Each page has the explanation of its kanji from Jim Been's KANJIDIC file.
- How to Navigate

- Bookmark the last page you read today, and continue from there the next time.
