There is a big difference in fluorescence. Strong fluorescence is one of the features of Myanmar rubies. Gubelin Gem Lab of Switzerland has been studying rubies for nearly 90 years and one of their terms for deeming the ruby pigeon blood is a strong fluorescence. Fluorescence is an indicator of value when assessing a ruby. But beware of synthetic rubies which can have a strong fluorescence.
