The value of gemstones is based on quality, s... The value of gemstones is based on quality, supply and demand. It may change with circumstances such as; balance, tradition and customs. This also applies to rubies. However, unlike other gemstones Myanmar rubies have a cultural history, tradition and are rare. If it's a Myanmar ruby the value can be determined by quality, treated or untreated, beauty and color. Defects is another factor but should not be confused with inclusions. Is it of heirloom quality? Is there clear evidence that it is untreated or does it require a lab analysis? I understand this level as a jeweler. Takahito Moriさん(@morisruby)がシェアした投稿 - 2017 Mar 14 4:14am PDT
