A new range of CyberShot cameras is presented by Sony at the CES 2013 in Las Vegas. The new Sony CyberShot DSC-WX80 is an ultra-compact feature-packed camera. The high resolution 16.2 megapixel Exmor R CMOS image sensor delivers detailed photos and Full HD video. The Sony DSC-WX80 incorporates a Carl Zeiss Vario Tessar lens with 8x optical zoom and enhance Optical SteadyShot, to counteract the effects of camera shake, resulting in blur-free photos. The Sony CyberShot WX80 also features 16x Clear Image digital zoom and offers a Superior Auto shooting mode. Once enabled, the camera will recognize and optimize settings based on the shooting conditions.

The feature-packed Sony WX80 camera supports 1080p Full HD video at 60i, it is even possible to capture still photos while recording a movie. In burst mode, the Cybershot camera can record up to 10 fps. In addition, the Sony CyberShot WX80 is WiFi capable, allowing users to send pictures and movies wireless to a compatible smartphone or tablet through Sony's PlayMemories Mobile app. WiFi functionality lets shooters use their connected smartphone to control basic camera functions.
