Taiwan electricity rates jacked high; manufacturers see hikes up to 35%
The Ministry of Economic Affairs announced a tariff rationalization program yesterday that is to be implemented the morning of May 15. Under the new schedule household rates will be raised a minimum of 16.9%, commercial rates will rise 30 percent and rates for industrial users will go up 35%.
It means I can only use a fan to cut down my air conditioning expenses?
I think I have to find some tips to keep my bedroom cool...
