Hello!
I haven't updated in a while but it's ok, my blog's pretty dead anyways.
It was Thanksgiving weekend and I do not want to go back to work tomorrow! I don't even want to think about it right now.
Well anyways, I had a great time this weekend. I ate so much food and drank a lot of wine! So Thursday was Thanksgiving day... we had shabu shabu for lunch. For dinner, we ate turkey, honey ham, chicken, ribs, and of course veggies. No one really ate the veggies though lol. I guess the people in my family love meat too much.
My bf and I ended up going with my sis and her hubby to his uncle's prime rib restaurant afterwards. We of course ate more turkey, yam, and DUDE was I stuffed. My brother-in-law's friend made us some cocktails and that just made me feel like puking. It wasn't bad but I just couldn't take it since I was full. After all that, everyone was looking for Black Friday deals. That's the day when everyone goes out looking for sales. I didn't see many things I liked and there was no way I was going to camp outside the whole night. I did find a good deal for one of the garmin navigators though! lol I'm so happy with my purchase. I just bought it online. I bought it for like $170 when the original price was around 399.
Instead of shopping Friday, my whole family went to Napa Valley for wine tasting! It was so fun but my aunt brought her underage kids. The drinking age in the US is 21 and my cousins were around 13. OOps, I can't believe I don't remember how old they are.
We went to the Sterling Vineyards and it was so pretty there! My alcohol tolerance is pretty bad so I was red already after 5 glasses of wine lol. I took a lot of pictures but I don't think I can post everything.

Wine list... my fave was the last wine which is a dessert wine.

I just ended up shopping with my bf the whole weekend. I only bought a holiday bear... no clothes. I'm waiting to go clothes shopping in Hong Kong! That's less than a month away so I'm so excited. Oh, but my bf and I did go to Sushi Zone for dinner on Saturday night. We waited for 2 and 1/2 hours for a seat! I've never waited so long for sushi before. The place is really small, and there was only one sushi chef, one waitress, and one guy that washes the dishes...
It was really worth the wait though so I'm not going to complain. The fish was so fresh and the pieces were BIG! We ordered some sushi rolls with some mango and it was so tasty. There was even a Hawaiian roll with macadamia nuts on top! The prices weren't expensive either so it was so worth it!
baked mussels on the left... baked shiitake mushrooms with salmon on the right.
NIGIRI and SUSHI ROLLS! YUMMY!
So that was my weekend... I wish we get more long weekends.
