a drama recommendation

In these few months, I have finished watching a western drama which is call American horror story. This drama have three seasons. They will use the same actor and actress to take part in but the three stories are totally different. It is good for those who want to learn English and study psychology and philosophy. Let me just brief talk about the background of these three stories.

The first one is talk about a hunted house and a family who just move in. The father is a psychologist, he was dating his student caught by his wife that let their baby died before birth, the wife who try to forgive his husband but she still has stress that her baby dead in her body, their daughter was a traditional teenager that think parents are annoying and do not want to go school. The story is talking about their family relationship and how to influence by others (ghost) and finally learn a lesson from the hunted house.

The second story is gather all the mystery, horror factors in a story such as  famous murder killer, addicted the power, the U.F.O , etc. it is describle how they change their mind after they have been had different experiences in the psychiatric hospital. 

The third one is talk about witches. The special girl that have some power. In a chance they all come to the school that prepare for them that can help them to know more about themselves and learn how to control the power they have. And what they have to deal with us those witches  hunter and their leader of the witch. Besides the war , also show the young girls how to change their personality after experience. And finally find a place that they can belong to. 

The reason why I recommend is there have some social issues, teenagers problem, how to deal with the situation with a sudden related what the theory I have learned  from school, therefore when I was watching I was apply the knowledge that teach by the class. Also there have some philosophy that remind ourselves, maybe the drama was a bit overstated and everything are being smooth to be solve. 

But some point of view really let us to have a review like the second story , at the end it said As you as get close to the darkness, you will destroy by the darkness. To look back that the story she was destroy by her curiosity and later on become selfish, to fulfill her vanity and hurt people, get lose to judge what is right and wrong. Therefore people should watch this drama,  as learning English and review our life. 

university Life in year 2

Here is my university life coming end of year 2. What a big different is the dream life of university is not excited. When I was in high school, I already hear a lot of people said that in university you can have freedom to choose and do what ever you like. Back to the real life, I do not want to decide by myself, really, sometimes it is hard to make a decision. Also the homework are difficult that before, for me, I rather to have a grammar exercise more than to have a eassy with numbers of pages and having a presentation. In the past, a presentation only doing some self-introduce, book review, etc. And the most important things is, here is teach by  English, the second language that I learned in the past and not really very good at it.

Even though I hate to do the power point presentation before because it is quite difficult for me in year 1 that we need to present for at least 5 minutes individually. Everytime I have a presentation, I will think how can I finish with 5 mins, and do not how to do a well presentation that what information I need to put in. Honestly I do not how to do, how can I do the research and do not have a well presentation skill, also teachers always ask us to find some scientific paper to support our research, yes, the very long eassy for a research paper done by others. At the beginning , I want to try to avoid to read those paper because it is hard and long. As teacher ask us to write one paper to them, I found that what my work such like a rubbish, because my work did not go deeply to have a research, and the paper only half and a page. The contact do not explain too much. Therefore when I do a research even the paper may not 100% match for what I want, I also try to remember the format, and the data are more describle deeply. 

However, my works are not perfect and still have a lot of space to improve, what a big change is I am not worry how to use the 5 mins and think that what I prepare can not finish in the limit time, especially a group presentation that will more easy to present over time. What I have learned another thing is to know how to divide the work to each groupmate and set up a time for us to finish, we can proof read and correct the mistake after we combine all the parts we done. An interesting thing is classmates are like to send a text message with English, I guess all of us are afraid to use English to be the communication before, and now we use it automatically.
