Every week, we try to use this blog feature to clap our hands for local events that use original designs to promote their events. That being the case, we'd be remiss if we didn't tell you about an event inspired by a local store that's full of original designs.
Since 2001, Imonni clothing store has provided blue prints of hip, kitschy and cultured apparel for Long Beach hipsters and aspiring fashionistas with a lust for all things vintage. This Friday, the store is having a launch party for their soon-to-be-huge retail website, www.imonni.com at the Basement Lounge in Downtown Long Beach.
Hosted by monthly DJ night White Denim, Imonni's website launch party features the smoldering, trip-hop tinged rock of On Blast as well as resident DJs Digits! and E-Love. It'll be the first of several monthly parties hosted by White Denim and Imonni. Don't miss you chance to be at the first one. Plus, we don't know if you noticed, but the Basement Lounge has some killer drink deals that night. $3 Colt 45 tall boys? Say no more. We'll be there.
