sensu -扇子（せんす）-
A sensu is a japanese folding fan made of bamboo frame.
It is covered with paper painted in beautiful picture such as ukiyoe or something.
It is said that the origin of sensu comes from a uchiwa(round fan) which was brought from China.
Once uchiwa had been remodeled into the sensu in japan,it was reintroduced to China and other regions like Europe.
Since its convinience to carry,Sensu is still in popular.You can get it easyily in the whole of japan.
