Both javelin and board jump were in the afternoon of the first day

Who can tell me what's happen?
I had to choose between these two event
Then I desided to give up the latter in order to participate in the javelin throw event
During the competition
We needed to sit under the boiling sun to wait for our turn（;´▽｀A``
At that time, I started to regret that I didn't pick the board jump（Ｔ＿Ｔ）
Since it's ground was in the shadow of the sun.......
At last,I had got the ninth place in the competition
(There were about thirty participants in that event)
However,the result of the winter was nearly trible of mine(￣ー￣；
On the other hand,
I am really regret that I didn't take part in the hurdle
Since there were only three participants in that event
And one of them was absent that dayΣ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ！
In order words, if I had participated in it
I would get the bronze medal at least
I have never get any medal in my life!!。・ﾟﾟ･(≧д≦)･ﾟﾟ･｡
Anyway, it's meaningless to repent of the bygone thing
P.S.One of our classmate had won the frist place in the 3000 meter run
