more often than not =(more than 50% of the time / more than half)
「ゼロ より しばしば」という感覚で「少し」という意味で受け取る人が多いそうですが、50%ぐらいの意味らしいです。

I made a sentence. →

quite a bit / quite a few
quite(全く) + a bit(少し) で「すご~く少し」と受け取る人が多いそうですが、全く反対の意味なんですね。
Example →
1. I ate sushi quite a bit these days. この文では quite a bit = very often
2. I can eat quite a bit of sushi. この文では quite a bit = a lot
3. I can eat quite a few plates of sushi. この文では quite a few = very many
not in the least =(not at all)
the least を not で打ち消してるイメージで反対に受け取る人もいるとか。。。
Example →
I don't like natto in the least.
Are you hungry?
No, not in the least. I just finished eating quite a bit of sushi.
next to no ~

でも・・・ next to no だから、次はゼロ というイメージで 限りなくゼロに近いって感じかな!?
