この曲のオリジナルは、Chuck Berry（チャック・ベリー）による1958年の曲で、シングル"Johnny B. Goode"のB面としてリリースされた。
またこの曲はThe Rolling Stonesが同じく1964年にカヴァーしたことでも知られる。
