David Coverdale（デイヴィッド・カヴァデイル）が1977年にリリースした1stソロ・アルバム「Whitesnake（ホワイトスネイク）」の1曲目に収録されている"Lady"。
この1stソロ・アルバムのタイトルが、その後結成されるバンド名になった。
作曲はDavid CoverdaleとMicky Moody（ミッキー・ムーディ、Gr.）による。Micky MoodyはWhitesnakeの結成にも参加した。
