"Try a Little Tenderness"は、Otis Reddingが1966年10月リリースのアルバム「Complete & Unbelievable: The Otis Redding Dictionary of Soul（邦題：ソウル辞典）」に収録した曲。同じ年の1966年11月にシングルとしてもリリースした。
この曲のオリジナルは、1932年に Ray Noble Orchestraによってレコーディングされた。作曲はJimmy Campbell、Reg Connelly、Harry M. Woodsによる。
