Got the nicely pretty goods from kindergarten event!!
"Shimekazari"
This is a twisted straw rope with fern leaves, a Japanese small orange and other items of good omen. It is generally hung on doors during the New Year holidays and served as a charm against evil spirits.
These Shimekazaris in the picture above are made slitely different from ordinary ones. Because they were handcrafted by kindergarten kids' mothers for handmade section of this event. They put the colors on the straw rope made more prettier than last year.
３、４年前から、毎年のモニ家のお正月しめ縄飾りは幼稚園のお母さま方が毎日コツコツと頑張って作り上げた手芸コーナーのものと決めています。

いろいろな点でスーパーものでは得られない喜びがありますo(〃＾▽＾〃)o
飾ってウキウキ、
お友達にあげてウキウキ、
お正月前でも袋を覘いてニヤニヤ(笑)

ちょうど今日、
ご家族のお仕事の関係で数か月後に急にイギリスに引っ越すことになってしまった方に姉が英語のプライベートレッスンをしてさしあげてレッスン料の領収書を書いたところだったので、
「これは領収書にいいねぇ！」
ということで早速大活躍する使い道が決定しました（‐＾▽＾‐）
