Requirements for the ascension - Sananda
Yes, we have requirements. I use the word rather facetiously, for compared to the requirements for those who have already ascended before this time, they are really rather easy requirements.
•First of all it is necessary to have some understanding of God, or some experience of God, to have an open heart towards that aspect of your higher self. It does not matter so much how you philosophize or view this or label it, but to have an awareness of your Creator, your higher self. You need to have an openness within your heart, to have an open heart and as best you can to love yourself unconditionally, for this is where it begins, and then to love unconditionally all that you see, all that you meet. In fact, to be a love radiator. Many of you are so beautiful it is redundant for me to speak of this. But nevertheless it is a requirement.
Question: "It has come to my attention that a great deal of self-healing needs to be done, I'm having trouble reconciling in my mind how a process like ascension can occur before the self-healing is done."
Sananda: This is an excellent question. Let me say that you have an emotional body that has been with you for many life times. It has borne the brunt of a lot of negativity and fear and confusion. You are all to some extent scarred by this in your emotional bodies. If you have been working on yourselves, doing your healing and meditations, you have processed a great deal of it. If you are more new to this then you may have a bit more work to do. Yet I would say that the transformation that is necessary is not something that will take a great deal of time. You do not need to be one hundred percent healed and whole emotionally or spiritually in order to ascend. It makes it easier for you to go through the process. It makes it more enjoyable perhaps.
