People point out how dark I am.
Yeah, literally.
I go to all sorta companies these days, right? Of course I meet lots of people there.
People actually point out how tanned I am wherever I go.
Seriously no joke. Even at interviews.
It was really a cultural shock in a way. In NZ nobody would mention stranger's skin coulour . They would say "You got so tanned!" to people they know. But they would never say to a stranger "You look really dark!"
Because it is so natural that people of all colours are mixed up so it is just impossible to set a standard when it comes to skin coulour.
It is wierd. and it is funny. haha yeah I do look dark.
