Video: CHRIS CORNELL Performs New Song 'Misery Chain'
According to The Pulse Of Radio, SOUNDGARDEN frontman Chris Cornell has contributed a new song called "Misery Chain", recorded with Joy Williams of THE CIVIL WARS, to the soundtrack of the new movie "12 Years A Slave", the new film that stars Chiwetel Ejiofor as a free black man from upstate New York who is abducted and sold into slavery in the days before the Civil War. The film is based on the true story of Solomon Northrup and also stars Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Paul Giamatti and others.
The soundtrack, titled "Music From And Inspired By 12 Years A Slave", will be released digitally on November 5 and as a CD on November 19.
