This gorgeous hotel offers its own private beach, and is conveniently nestled into the lush hillside. The service is impeccable, and each room offers a full list of amenities. Montague Manor. A much more reasonable rate of $150 per night, this hotel offers everything you would expect from a mid-range option. There have a few negative remarks regarding the service as of late, though I've never had a problem (unlike the Panoramic, I can afford to stay here more often!). There are excellent ocean views, which is really what you're paying for here. Highly recommended.
Royal Atlantic Beach Resort Hotel. The location is ideal for someone looking to walk into downtown and historic districts. Right along the coast, like the previous hotels, the Royal is nothing to write home about... it resembles something of an old folks home, though it is a value option, with easy beach access.
These are the three places I recommend to clients when they visit Montague Beach. Keep in mind that all offer ocean views, with different levels of service and accommodation.
If the Slide-Out seems a bit much, take a look at the 2008 Viking 1706. This model is about two thirds the length (twelve vs. eighteen feet) and still offers rooms opposite each other (though they are doubles instead of kings). The same optional amenities are available, with the exception of a toilet.
