夢の国から
昨日、帰ったA君は道内のホテルに到着したときに、「夢の国から現実のホテルに来た」と言ったとのこと。
くるみの学校が夢の国・・・・・
それはお世話になっている「サンタヴィレッジ」のTさんや「くるみの学校」のスタッフも同じような思いです。
私が南富良野町北落合の大地にくるみの学校を建てたのは、3泊したA君が感じたことを、私も感じていたからです。
新約聖書・ルカ伝第17章には
神の国はいつ来るのかと、パリサイ人が尋ねたので、イエスは答えて言われた、「神の国は、見られるかたちで来るものではない。また『見よ、ここにある』『あそこにある』などとも言えない。神の国は、実にあなたがたのただ中にあるのだ」とあります。
これはチャップリンの独裁者の最後の演説でも引用された部分です。
You have the love of humanity in your hearts. You don't hate.

You, the people, have the power! The power to create machines. The power to create happiness. You the people have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure. Then in the name of democracy, let us use that power. Let us all unite! Let us fight for a new world. A decent world, that will give men a chance to work, that will give youth a future and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie. They do not fulfill that promise. They never will. Dictators free themselves, but they enslave the people.

A君は今回、6人のくるみの学校に関わっている大人と会いました。
この6人はそれぞれの思いでこの北の大地に根をおろし、今を生きています。
その生き様をA君は見て、何かを感じたのだと思います。
出す料理を美味しい美味しいと言って、たくさん食べてくれました。
雄大な景色の中での農作業や初めて見る満天の星、天の川・・・。
そして、世代をこえた皆さんの話を聞きながら、楽しく食事をする・・・・
これがくるみの学校です。
