The Princess and her Carriage

Last nite I went to a car gathering with my bf.

He is a BMW mechanic but hates BMWs and looooooooove old cars.

This is his car: a 1973 Nissan Sunnny.

He made his own engine, painted it orange, and put the flames print on the side.

We patrol the Tokyo & Yokohama/Kanagawa area in this car...

Its pretty funny see the reactions of people when we are driving in this car.

Little kids look and point because it looks like a toy.

Old people and foreigners look and point (and also take pictures) because its rare and nostalgic.

(Or maybe its because the car is rare and weird... along with the fact that we usually blast the music real loud...)

I like to wear outfits that TOTALLY do not match this car

I also like the fact that he lets me blast reggae music, Ayu, and Glay if i want to.

Ok... So another slow day at work today...

Let's see... What to update from, what to update from...

I guess i'll start from work.

I have been working at a service/rental office in Tokyo (Nihonbashi/Ginza area) from May 2007.

I started off as an office assistant (aka the office and company's BIATCH... lol)

but that was a good start for me after quitting my first job after 3 months.

I totally lost confidence in myself after quitting that job

and I was afraid to start again after working until the last train

and being told that I wasnt making sales.

I wanted to start at the lowest starting point to build confidence again

and not have to deal with the responsibilities just yet.

It really helped that I did that.

I feel more confident in my work now and I have been promoted to junior secretary this month.

(FINALLY!!)

I work with in a team of 5 right now at my location.

The manager is younger than me, Dutch, also went to an international school, funny, and cute!

The senior secretary and receptionist are like my big sisters.

We are always talking and having a blast.

We also had a sleep-over at a hotel once and would like to plan another sleep over soon.

Then there is a new office assistant... she is sooo tiny and cute.

I never thought i would get along with my co-workers so well to the point that we would have sleep-overs!

(I was never into have a sticky relationship with work people)

I am really grateful for that... esp after that first work experience.
