神さまが自分を鍛えてくれているのかも
知れない、
という考えを持って乗り切ろう！」

SMBC日興証券が主催する「教えてイチロー先生」という企画で、
マリナーズ球団会長付特別補佐兼インストラクターのイチローさんが先生役で登場。
「本当に気が合わずに、嫌な上司がいるとき、イチロー先生ならどうしますか？」という生徒の問いに
まず、ジョークで
「ぶん殴っちゃいます」と即答して、生徒の笑いを誘いました。
その後、
「ぶん殴りたくなるときあるよね。あるのだけれど、感情的になると損をするという考え方が基本的にあってね」
「本当にこれをして後悔しないのか？」と考えるようにすると説明。
そして、最後に
イチロー先生は「上司に試されていたらどうする？」と生徒に問いかけました。
イチロー先生は「何かに迷ったときに、あれ？これ誰かに試されているのかも」という視点を持つようにしていると教えました。
これは、大切な人生訓です。
人生で、失敗が続いた時、辛いことが続いた時、不運と思えることが続いた時
「神さまが自分を試しているのかも」
「神さまが自分を鍛えてくれているのかも」
そういう考えを持つようにしましょう！
試練に挫けない強さが湧き出てきます。

In a project called "Teach me Ichiro Sensei" sponsored by SMBC Nikko Securities,
Ichiro, special assistant to the Mariners team president and instructor, appears in the role of a teacher.
In response to a student's question, "What would Ichiro Sensei do if you had a boss you really didn't like?"
First, a joke
``I'm going to punch my boss,'' he replied immediately, drawing laughter from the students.
after that,
"There are times when I feel like punching someone. There are times, but there is a basic idea that if you get emotional, you will regret it."
He explained that he tries to think, ``Are I really going to do this and not regret it?''
And finally
Mr. Ichiro asked the students, ``What would you do if your boss was testing you?''
Ichiro-sensei taught that when you are unsure about something, try to think from the perspective of, ``Huh? Maybe someone is testing me.''
This is an important life lesson.
In life, when failures continue, when difficult things continue, when things that seem to be unlucky continue to occur.
“Maybe God is testing me.”
“Maybe God is training me.”
Let's have that mindset!
It will give you the strength to not give up in the face of trials.

損してもいいから、徳をとるようにしよう！

多くの人にとって「損」は避けたいものです。
できれば「得」をしたいものです。
これは、人間の生存本能の表れでもあり、悪い事ではありません。
でも、ある種の人は、「得」を欲しすぎます。
人を騙してでも、自分が得したいと考える人が一定数いることも事実です。
そういう思いが湧いてきた時は、よく考えるべきです。
人を騙して得するようなことは、長続きしないということを。
短期的に得をしても、自分の信用・信頼を損います。
長中期的には「損」になるということを知らなければなりません。
むしろ、目先の勝負は、負けてもいいのです。
正々堂々と負ければいいのです。
正しい行いを続けていれば、短期的には負けても、自分の徳が磨かれ
社会からの信用・信頼が高まってきます。
それが、幸運を呼び込むのです。
良心の声を聞き分けて、良心を裏切らないように生きましょう！
