昔から

「可愛い子には旅をさせよ」

「獅子は我が子を千尋の谷に突き落とす」

「子孫の為に美田を買わず」

と言われています。

殻の中は、安心ではありますが、殻に閉じこもったままでは、

人としての成長は期待できません。

殻を破ってこそ、はじめて成長のチャンスに巡り合えるのです。

幸運は、他人が持ってきてくれるのですから。

殻を破って外に出ると、思い通りにならないこと、辛いこと

や苦しいことが連続してやってくるでしょう。

でも、これはある意味当たり前です。

だから、劣等感に苛まれたり、挫けたりしてはいけません。

自尊心を失ってはいけません。

思い通りにならないこと、辛いことや苦しいことに遭ったとしても、
“何としても乗り越えるんだ！”という決意・気概を持ってください。

そして、その決意・気概に愛だとか思いやりというものを

あわせもつことが大切なんですね。

それに、思い通りにならないこと、辛いことや苦しいことをに遭う
ことは、神さまがくれた成長のチャンスと信じて活用してください。

break out of it and grow.

It's been said since ancient times:
"Let your beloved child travel."
"A lion will push his cub into a valley of depths."
"Do not buy beautiful fields for your descendants."
You may feel safe inside your shell, but if you remain shut up in it,
you cannot expect to grow as a person.
It is only by breaking out of your shell that you can find opportunities to grow.
Luck is something that others bring to you.
Once you break out of your shell and venture out, you will likely encounter a series of disappointments, hardships, and suffering.
But, in a way, this is natural.
So don't be plagued by feelings of inferiority or become discouraged.
Don't lose your self-esteem. Even if things don't go as planned, or if you encounter difficult or painful situations,
have the determination and spirit to "get through it no matter what!"
And it's important to combine that determination and spirit with love and compassion.
Also, when things don't go as planned, or when you encounter difficult or painful situations,
believe that these are opportunities for growth given to you by God, and use them to your advantage.
