I got an English name "Mischelle" last year,
My friend Hiroshi gave it to me.:)
At first,
I said "I want an English name!
Give me a good name for me somebody."
Then everybody started to thinking,
and soon Hiroshi said "how about Michelle?"
Then I thought
"wow it's so nice!"
But everybody said
"oh that pretty fits to her! You look like Michelle"
faster than me!
so I was so glad and said
"wow~ really!? I'm so glad!
Call me Michelle from next!"
I was so happy with having a new name.
Michelle is the name of a cute girl
in an American situation comedy "Full House".
I really love that TV program when I was little
and it still popular in Japan.
After that, friends called me "Michell".
But actually they call me Michell after said my real name.
It seemed a little difficult to become used to be called Michell.
Gradually they forgot my English name,
Finally nobody had called me in English name
except Hroshi.
And after came to NYC,
I met many Korean girls whose names are "Michelle".
So I stop to intend my English name is Michelle.
But I still wanted to have second name,
so one day I ask to Chiaki and Takayo to
"I want an English name. Because people seems
hard to accept my name "Mikiko.""
Then they said like,
"um… well, how about Minnie?
…But I don't came up with some names those really fits to you…
Mikiko is Mikiko!"
oh…
I see.
I disappointed a little,
and I thought
You said "you look like really Michelle" last year!
…well, but maybe my atmosphere or characteristic
had changed while a year.
Now, I hope everybody is familiar with my real name Mikiko.
