Everyone fears death.
Even children know that death will always come to everyone equally.
So how do animals think about death?
Of course, they are living creatures and will surely die.
But how do they and those around them perceive death?
Animals other than humans may not recognize death.
In other words, there may be biological death, but not social death.
That is what I am thinking.
誰もが死を恐れている。
子どもであっても、死は必ず誰にも平等に訪れることを知っている。
では、動物は死をどのように考えているのだろうか。
もちろん、生き物であるから必ず死を迎える。
でも、本人や周りのものは死をどのように捉えているのだろうか。
人間以外の動物は死を認識していないのではないだろうか。
つまり、生物学的な死はあっても社会的な死は無いのではないか。
そんなことを考えている。
