The reason I bought this book was because Stephen King said " almost all of the books about how to write are crap. But The elements of style is exceptional." in his book "On writing." Well, technically I heard the story from a reviewer of the book on Amazon, though. :"D
「The elements of style」っていうライティングの本買いました。なんでもスティーブン・キングが「小説作法」の中で「ライティングのイロハを教える本は大概がクズだが『the elements of style』だけは特別だ」と言っていたらしいんで。厳密にいうと、Amazonレビューアーからのまた聞きなんですけどね、汗。
でも何回も改訂されて国内外のAmazonで評価の高い本が6～700円って超お買い得ですよね♪
