まさにまさかと思える事態です。
十数時間も夜間飛行だったら無きにしも非ずでしょうか。それも乗務員同士ならともかく、乗客とのただならぬ関係を持つのですから驚きです。
でもこれが欧米の実態です。

Flight attendants are the picture of poise and grace when they travel the skies, but it turns out most of them have a darker side.

A new poll has revealed that 89 per cent of cabin crew have broken the rules while on the job, with a fifth of those asked admitting to stealing from passengers.
Other misdemeanours included indulging in sexual activity mid-flight and lying to customers.

The survey of 718 former and current British attendants by Jetcost.co.uk were quizzed about which rules they had broken while at work.

The most common offence was lying to passengers, with 28 per cent of crew admitting they had lied about product availability during a flight.
The second most popular was becoming a member of the mile high club, with 21 per cent of staff admitting they had indulged in sexual relations with a colleague during a flight, followed by 20 per cent admitting they had short-changed passengers.
最も多かった違反は乗客への嘘で、乗務員の28%が飛行中に商品の在庫について嘘をついたことを認めた。
2番目に多かったのは「マイル・ハイ・クラブ」（註）の会員になることで、スタッフの21％が飛行中に同僚と性的関係を持ったことを認め、続いて20％が乗客に釣銭ごまかしを働いたことを認めた。

Rounding up the top five offences were the 14 per cent of staff who revealed they had indulged in sexual relations with a passenger during a flight and seven per cent who had accepted tips and gifts from passengers.

The respondents who admitted that they had short-changed passengers were asked to share details of how they did it, with 54 per cent revealing they had given the change in a different currency, and 40 per cent admitting that most passengers simply hadn't checked their change.

When asked to state how much they thought they had pocketed from short-changing passengers per month, the results showed that the average cabin crew member made £27.60 per month, or £331.20 per year.

The Brits weren't the most light-fingered of the cabin crews travelling the air though.

One thousands respondents from Spain, Italy, Germany and France were quizzed about the practice, and 29 per cent of German flight attendants admitted the offence, estimating that they made around £410.79 a year from it.
Twenty-four per cent of Spaniards indulged, pocketing £121.15 a year, 19 per cent of French surveyed took an average of £90.73 and 18 per cent of Italians took around £75.88.
