wow, starting year 3 already into our business GROW GREEN TEA COMPANY... how time flies... but I'm so proud of coming this far...and have absolutely everyone who has supported me to thank for it!
It all started with an idea, then joining all the dots. A family background in green tea farming, mum from the tea county of Japan, Shizuoka, our love for tea, the poor quality of tea circulating Australia and the need for proper education. Although an idea, a dream, it grew and continues to GROW! I chose our company name with meaning. First for the potential for this business to grow, to grow in whatever way the roads will lead us, the growth of green tea as a plant in farming, and to learn and grow as a person in the world of business. I think our company is doing just that!
Grow Green Tea's mission; to educate people about proper Japanese green tea and matcha, to appreciate the art and culture of the tea, and final goal will be to support and give back to the tea farmers in our home town Shizuoka, Japan.
3 years ago, we didn't even know where to start, literally started with selling one bag of tea from our kitchen and signing up to do the biggest food expo of the year Fine Foods in Melbourne! Never forget the 2 bags sitting in the corner on the kitchen table, then it was a box, and another box, and another...all of a sudden it was taking up my house! Expanded quickly, we started with a small warehouse, another couple of months passed and we couldn't even get into the warehouse! The need to expand yet again. Then it was ordering by pallet, and 3 years on we are importing containers and exporting across Australia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Canada, New Zealand etc
What have I learned over the 3 years? A lot! Always keep a goal and a focus in business and you'll get there! Be open to new ideas, appreciate everyone who supports you and never be afraid to ask for help. Off course it hasn't all been smooth, life never is! There's lots of obstacles, trip ups, influences, along the way but believe me if you're determined, you'll pull through! I've had so many hiccups, challenges both in business, workload, personal relations, but I've never lost my focus. I feel that's key. The downfalls are never a waste, you learn from them! Even in the world of business, I really believe that people are there to help and support you and you are definitely not alone in the journey! That's what's made me come this far. 3 years running a company.

会社GROW GREEN TEA COMPANYを始めて、あっという間に３年目に無事はいりました！時間って本当に早いもんだよねー！でも、ここまでこれたのも皆さんのおかげだと思っています。心から感謝です！
会社を始めるっというのも、本当にシンプルなアイデアで始まりました。それと、つながりですね。。。本家が静岡でお茶農園、自分のお母さんも静岡人、お茶が有名な静岡県、美味しいお茶や抹茶を世界に味わってもらえたいという気持ち、現在オーストラリアや海外で飲める日本茶のクアリチーの低さ、日本茶の知識が少ない海外、それぞれの理由ではじまりました。グローっていう名前も私は色んな意味を重ねてつけました！まずはじめに、グローって英語でいうと育つや成長という意味です。なので、会社を大きく育てる、お茶の葉を育てる、自分も人として、ビジネスの世界で成長ていく、という意味でつけました！ここ三年で自分会も社もともに成長してると思っています！
会社のミッション：お茶や抹茶の知識をひろめる、エジュケーションしてい区と最終的のゴールは農家支援をすることです！
３年前、本当にどこから始めて、いいかも分からないまま会社をはじめました！とりあえず、家にお茶２袋置いてあったのも覚えています！それと、オーストラリアで最大のフード展示会に参加することを急に決めちゃいました！たったの２袋から始めて、次は箱で注文が来て、どんどん家にお茶が入った箱が増えていき、倉庫を借りることになりました！始めは小さ目な倉庫を借り、数か月後には、倉庫に入れないくらいにものがオーダーが増えていき、現在日本からコンテナでお茶や抹茶を輸入しています！オーストラリアだけではなく、マレーシア、ニュージーランド、カナダ、台湾にも日本から輸出しています！
ここ３年で何を学んで来たか？というと、いっぱい学びましたね。。。いいことも悪いことも！（笑）ビジネスではゴールが大事、それに対してぶれないこと。新しいアイデアや提案を受け入れること、身の回りの人に対してちゃんと感謝の気持ちを持つこと、で、助けが必要な時はちゃんと求めることですね！もちろん、そんなスムーズにビジネスはいきませんよ！日々のチャレンジ、仕事量、競争相手、人間関係などたくさんのことが影響します！いいことも悪いこともすべて受け入れて、無駄じゃないことを信じる！勉強して学ぶことがこれからもたくさんあると思っていますし、それを乗り越えながら、頑張ろうと思っています！人がいなければビジネスなんてできないんだから、それも忘れないことですね！
