Rummel, a political science professor at the University of Hawaii, Japan’s savage military murdered more people from 1937 to 1945 than the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, the ethnic cleansing in Poland and Tito’s slaughterhouse in Yugoslavia combined. This is a sickening reality that is silenced and decorticated from common knowledge about Japan, to the point that very few Westerners are aware this happened

The US govt spent enormous amount of money equivalent to half billion dollars and 7 years during the Clinton and Bush admins and researched 8.5 million pages only to find that there is not a single document proving the coercive mobilization of comfort women by the Japanese govt.
And in 1938, Japanese Govt had prohibited compulsory mobilization of CW by the following order:
Classified Order No.745 by Japanese Army entitled "Regarding Recruites of Female Workers at Military Comfort Houses" issued on March 4, 1938 reads:
"Concerning the recruitment of female workers for organizing comfort houses at..., there are many cases that recruiters were apprehended and interrogated by the police authority due to their way of recruitment being similar to kidnapping.
Therefore, from this time forth, the recruitment shall be implemented under the control of dispatched armies..., so that the utmost caution shall be taken to conserve the dignity of the Army of Japan and prevent this matter from developing into a social problem.
