Oh, my New Year's Resolutions:
Enjoy life more:
1. I need to be less "work, work work, worry worry worry" and
2. Do more of the things I enjoy doing.
3. I need to not use the excuse "I'm so tired" keep me from having fun.
I'd like to lose weight.:
4. Get up earlier so I can
5. Prepare my lunches for work and
6. Exercise more
7. Eat healthier (low sugar, no white foods, more veg and fruit)
8. Save money for a new car
Making my lunches and making my own coffee will help with this as well as not wasting my money on things I don't need.
Keep my house clean
9. by taking the trash out more often,
10. Purchasing items that I only really need to keep from cluttering the house and wasting money.
11. Using the extra time in the morning from getting up earlier to give my self extra time to clean up after myself.
Take better care of myself
12. Take a daily vitamin
13. My body is a temple, yada yada yada.
I think that's it for now. If I think of anything else, I'll update.
So, I was in the bookstore today skimming through a book called "The Weight Loss Cure 'they' don't want you to know about"
Super crazy shit. There were like 60 steps of the process. There were several phases, all focusing on "reseting the hypothalamus". Pfft. Anyhoo, it was stuff like avoid exposure to florescent lighting, air conditioning, lotions and creams, over-the-counter medicines, high fructose corn syrup, inorganic dairy and meat. Also, in the first phase, the book said to get 15 colonics in a period of 30 days. There were other things, one of the phases required a doctor to give some kind of shot... Liver cleansing, colon cleansing using medicine...
It's not like I take this as gospel or anything, I'm not sure I even believe that this would work or not, but the author claims that there are a couple of things that cause people to be overweight and to overeat. He says that there's a type of bacteria that settles in the colon after someone takes antibiotics and it causes one to want to continue eating after they are full. That's what the colonics are for. He also says there's something wrong with the hypothalamus of overweight people. According to the book, the 'cure' was found 30 years ago but not advertised because 'they' want fat people to remain fat for money making purposes. At one time, I scoffed at the idea of having food allergies, but it turned out to be true and now I am a healthier person if I can stay away from the foods I am allergic to. Maybe all this weird crap is true, too. If it wasn't impossible for me, I'd try it, lol. How can I stay out of florescent lighting?? I'm under it 9 hours a day at work. Air conditioning, too. I'm still trying to decide if I should try the steps or not. I think I'll read the original manuscript which supposedly is available all over the internet. Pounds and Inches
