MEETS on Feb.28

We had MEETS on Feb.28.
We had 2 from Sweden, 1 from USA, and 5 from Japan.
We studied from Philipians chapter 1, every good thing come from above.

MEETS in January

We had MEETS on January 31.
3 Swedish, 2 Americans, and 6 Japanese attended.
We sang worship songs and studied Bible.
This time we learned from Jonah chapter 4.
Jonah was angry at the God, because the God stopped destroying Nineveh. Jonah hated Nineveh because they were so evil and cruel.
But the God's perspective is different from human's. He doesn't want even evil people perish but wants them to come to God. It's like the father of the prodigal son.
We could know the God's big heart.
The next MEETS is supposed to be Feb. 28 at Oka's house from 7 PM.

New Year Party 2010

We had a New year party on January 3rd.
9 people attended.
We had dinner, talked very much.
It was fun!

MEETS in November

Next International Christian Fellowship MEETS on 29th November is postponed.

MEETS in October

We had MEETS on 18th Oct.
This time was a big meeting with 16 people, 1 American, 4 Swedish, 6 Philipines, and 5 Japanese.
We sang many worship songs and studied Bible, and shared fellowship time.
We learned from Jonah chapter 3. Jonah followed the order of God and went to Nineveh and proclaimed God's warnig that Nineveh would be overthrown in forty days. What Jonah did was walking around the city of Nineveh and shouting around only six words in Hebrew. Then the whole Nineveh city repented.
From this we learned the God's great power to be able to change the evil human mind, and God who has such great power needed Jonah who was not obedient. The God needs coworkers even though who are not perfect.
After the meeting we had Sukiyaki dinner. That was so fun.

MEETS in September

We had MEETS on 27th September.
This time Elin from Sweden attended, who came to Japan 2 weeks ago.
We studied from Jonah chapter 2. Jonah was treated by the God to be ready to serve.
And Jonah was in the big fish for three days at the bottom of the sea. That was the sign of Jesus Christ, who was in the grave for three days. From the story we could learn surrendering ourselves to the God to be able to work for the God.
