MEETS in November

We had MEETS on Nov. 28 at Oka's house.
2 Americans and 5 Japanese attended.
We studied Philippians 2:25-30.
We learned from Epaphroditu's sickness we should not forget we have spiritual battles against Satan. Paul called him a fellow soldier. Missionaries are fighting the spiritual war. We have to pray to support them.
Next MEETS will be on Dec. 26th at Oka's house from 6 PM. It supposed to be a pot luck party. Please join. Please check the information.

MEETS in October

We had MEETS on Oct. 17 at Oka's house.
2 Americans and 1 British, 2 Japanese attended.
We studied Philippians 2:19-24.
Christians have defects even in early churches. Paul had to send Timothy to care Philippian church.
Then we talked about the difficulty to tell the Gospel in Japan. It is difficult for Japanese to notice the sins in their hearts. But we should not give up talking the truth until their hearts soften.

MEETS in September

We had MEETS on Sept. 26 at Oka's house.
2 Americans and 1 Jamaican, 3 Japanese and 1 Swedish(Elin with Skype from Sweden) attended.
We studied Philippians 2:12-18. From these passages, we discussed very much.
Christians have to work out to attain the salvation by accepting the God's work within us. We have to be careful to be close to the God with fear and trembling.
Then we can shine in this world like stars in the sky, that the God showed Abraham his descendant would become like them.

MEETS in August

We had MEETS on August 29th.
Attendants were 2 Americans and 6 Japanese.
We studied from Phillipians 2:6-11.
We learned the Christ came down to very low, and was raised very high. He gave his life and for the sake of that He got everything. That is the principle of God's kingdom.
All creatures including even devils will bow down before Him.
And we will sit on the place of heaven with Christ Jesus as royal priesthood.
We could share many things from these passages.

MEETS in June

We had MEETS on Jne 20th.
We had indoor BBQ party.
This time, we had 4 Americans and 10 Japanese.
After the meal, we had worship time and Bible study from Philipians chapter 2.
We learned the humbleness of the Christ. We can follow him, because we have the Spirit of Christ within us. But we can easily leave the way if we follow our flesh.
Next MEETS will be held on July 18th at my house in Hayashima from 7 PM.

We will have next MEETS on 20th June.
Hopefully we will have a dinner party.
That will start from 6 PM.

MEETS in April

We had MEETS on Apr.25.
This time we had 1 from USA, and 4 from Japan.
We studied from Philipians chapter 1. We have struggles in our life. That is the gift from the God. He tests us through trials as precious ones.
Next MEETS will be held at Oka's house at 7 PM on 30th May.

MEETS in March

We had MEETS on Mar.21.
We had 1 from Sweden, 1 from USA, and 6 from Japan.
This meeting was farewell of Elin, who stayed with us 6 months, left Japan on 30.
We had very good time with her in Christ. May the Lord bless her and her future.
Next MEETS will be held at Oka's house at 7 PM on 25th April.
