プロジェクトには気をつけろ

先日、次男は社会のプロジェクトをやる為、放課後クラスメイトの家へ行った。とってもうれしそうだったので、さては勝手にプレイデイトと勘違いさせてたな。

６時半ごろ無事帰宅。クラスメイトのお父さんが、家まで送ってくれた。私は雪道を運転するのが大の苦手なので、親切なお父さんに感謝。

その夜、その母さんに電話したら、”プロジェクトは一時間で終わってねぇ、その後ずーとWiiやら何やらで、楽しそうに遊んでたわ。”　

やっぱねぇ。

夕食後は補習校の宿題をやる約束なのに無理、そのまま歯も磨かずにバタンキュー。　

そうとう楽しかったんだね。

勉強の為、英訳。

My son went to his friend’s house to do a social study project.

He was so happy about going to his house after school.

He regarded as a play date.

He came home around six thirty. It was nice of his friend’s father to drive him home.
I was afraid of driving in the snow because my car is a two wheel drive.

I spoke to his friend's mother on the phone and she told me that the project was done in one hour and they played with wii. I figured that.

After dinner, he was supposed to do Saturday school homework but he could not say up. He went to sleep without brushing his teeth.

He must have lot of fun with his friend.

初めての日記 リトルリーグ

毎日かあさん。　長男のキャラらが、うちの長男にも通じるものかある。 ブログネタ：漫画読んでる？ 参加中

少年野球のシーズンが近づいてきたので、次男がそわそわそわそわ。去年、長男が球場でキラリとしたのを見て”僕もお兄ちゃんみたくなりたーい！”と宣言。

よっしゃー、約束だ。　文句言わないで、宿題とお手伝いをすること。（宿題の時、次男は信じられないくらい時間を無駄にする。）で去年の秋、旦那が次男をリトルリーグに登録。

数日前、野球教室で基礎を習ってきた。先週は初めてのトライアウトだった。朝は言われなくても、すぱっと早起き。早速クローブを持って、朝食の時も一緒くん。準備完了、ばっちこい状態！

親としては礼儀やチームスピリットを学んでほしいけど、楽しければいいや！

勉強の為、以下英訳。

As baseball season is approaching, my younger son can not wait to play.　 Ever since he saw my older son shine on the baseball field last year, he wanted to be just like his big brother.

He promised us that he would do his homework and do some household chores without complaining. (He wastes too much time when he does his homework.)
Finally last fall, my husband signed up our younger son for a local little league team for the first time.

A couple weeks ago, they went to a baseball clinic to learn basic skills. Last Sunday was a big day for him. He tried out for a team for the first time. He got up so early and he had been holding his baseball glove. When he ate his breakfast, he put his glove next to him. He was ready to play!

I hope he learns discipline and team spirit. Above all, I hope he has lots of fun throughout a season.
