This time I'm going to try Koikeya's Avocado Cream Cheese flavored tortilla chips.
The package's picture shows an avocado cut in half and behind that there's a basket filled with chips. When looking at this picture and the package's overall green color, I feel as though I'm on a summer picnic.
Let's look at the nutrition.

Anyway, let's open her up!
ゴーダチーズやクリームチーズの香りに通常のトルティーヤの香りが加わってる。
チーズの香りのほうは強いと思っている。
チップスをクロースアップで見ていこう。
There's a combination of the usual smell of tortilla chips with goda cheese and cream cheese. The smell of cheese is a bit stronger though.
チップはドリトスと同じような三角形にみえる。 一口のサイズでアボカドにみえる緑色がしている。
それで食っていこう。
The chips are triangular shaped, almost a reminder of Doritos. They are bite-sized and have the color of avocado.
When I ate them I was a little taken aback because the chips had a sweetness to them. This sweetness, combined with the flavor of cheese and tortilla were well-balanced.
As hard as I tried, I couldn't find the taste of avocado though!
Today, I'm going to try Frito Lay Japan's salami flavored Doritos, which comes included with a tomato sauce. Yay!
Even without sauce, I've always thought that Doritos tasted good, but there are times when I think "Dammit, I need a sauce."
The package is shaped like a cup and is deep red. Kind of reminds me of a salami or a tomato. The sauce is prepared in this separate tiny package that is sealed on top of the main package.
When opening the package, you'll not be overwhelmed with a whiff of salami. Instead, you'll smell something similar to just ordinary tortilla chips. That's not to say it doesn't arouse my appetite, but it was kind of unexpected.
The size of the chips are about 2 times smaller than ordinary Doritos. On the other hand, my fingers do look 2 times bigger when I took one out.
They look cute! But having said that, I wonder if eating them one by one will satisfy my urge.
Right. Now it's time to open up the container for the sauce.
At a glance, it looks like ketchup. But there's is no smell of ketchup! Rather than saying it's "tomato sauce," it would have been more accurate to call it salsa. Without a doubt, this was made with the same spices as salsa.
The container's size is easy to dip these small chips into.
I tried eating some of the chips without dipping them in sauce first. Well, just as I had thought when I smelled them, the salami flavor tasted a little weak. I didn't think to myself "Wow, I'm salami flavored Doritos actually do exist!" Actually, I felt that they just tasted like ordinary tortilla chips with light flavoring. That isn't to say that I was completely disappointed with the taste, because I love all tortilla chips. But I was expecting to taste something new. Too bad!
I then tried them with the tomato dip. First thing that came to mind: this tastes just like the mild sauce that I used to get at Taco Bell. It's a nice and balanced blend of spices and wouldn't turn off people who hate spicy foods. I will say however that when dipping the tortilla chips, the salami flavor is completely lost.
So, overall, these were delicious. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a quick low calorie snack. You can expect to get the usual crunchy texture of any Doritos and the convenience of having a nice dip provided with the package.
