7回目のモニターレッスン
再び Takami 先生のレッスン 「どっぷり英語」生活（週４コース）
：初級～中級（下）を受講しました

＜予習＞
前回と同様、ディスカッションとリーディングのレッスンhalf & half でお願いしました。
リーディングでは本（児童書）を読んで、単語を調べておきました。
＜レッスン＞
* １日目、スカイプでの Speaking
レッスン前半はディスカッション、Topic は 環境 にしました。
今日最も深刻な環境問題は？ 問題に対してどのように対処すればよいか、解決法は？
個人単位で貢献できることは？ 政府と個人- 環境問題に対してより責任を担っているのは？
発展途上国の発展vs環境問題 -重視すべきは？
などなど、たくさんの質問をもらって、たくさん話しました。 discussion に約３０分時間を使いましたが、あっという間でした。 いつも感じることですが、 問題に対する自分なりの意見と広い知識を持っていないといけないな、と反省します
。
毎回のレッスンを良い機会として、トッピクのアイデアになりそうな記事などを予習時に読んでおこうとおもいます
。
レッスン後半は、前回と同様、ボキャブラリーや物語の内容に関する質問に答える練習をしました。 今日は４章まで進みました。レッスン内容に日本の国語の授業の様なレッスンとありますが、ほんとにそんな感じです。
事前に調べておいた単語リスト：
Chapter 2
caboose = a car on a freight train for use of the train crew; usually the last car on the train
coop = cage, an enclosure made or wire or metal bars in which birds or animals can be kept
file in = proceed in line , enter by marching in a file
peer into = look searchingly
banister = handrail, a railing at the side of a staircase or balcony to prevent people from falling
Chapter 3
twil = turn in a twisting or spinning motion
perch = to come to rest, settle
butt = to strike, thrust or shove against
tack = fix to; attach
thumbtack = a tack for attaching papers to a bulletin board or drawing board
wail = to weep, cry weakly or softly
Chapter 4
crouch = sit on one's heels
bark = tough protective covering of the woody stems and roots of trees and other woody plants
hibernate = to sleep during winter, be in an inactive or dormant state
* さて、前回同様、残り３日間はリーディング＆ライティングのレッスンです。
(実際には課題を受け取ってから約１０日間以内に提出すればＯＫです。）
今回は次の課題を頂きました！毎回違う課題を頂けるのも楽しみのひとつです
。
1. イディオムを使って作文する （10センテンス）
1. raining cats and dogs
2. barking up the wrong tree
3. go to the dogs
4. went out on a limb 他6イディオム
2. 物語を読んで、質問に答える。（ボキャブラリー＆内容把握）

<感想> 本レッスンでは、スカイプでのスピーキングだけでなく、メッセージのやり取りによる ライティングやリーディングの課題を頂けるのが魅力です。 次はどんな課題をもらえるのかな？って思うと、結構わくわくします
仕事以外で英語に触れる良い機会なので、継続して受講しようと思っています。
次回はいよいよ最後のモニターレッスンです！
