This is the recap of US Green card process for anyone who would like to know the case as an example.

I put as much I remember what happen 10 years ago when I got US Green card
It took less than two years process to get US Green card from E visa status.
2006
I had been 2 yers as a status of E visa and had been working in Orange County and lived in Los Angeles county.
- applied myself my wife and my son ( age of 5 at that time) who were dependent visa status of mine
I have assigned the law firm to get US Green card.
Prepared documentation are as follows - which are not in chronicle
Parents and family information
Fill in the application
Supported by the Zenbu Koseki shoumei in Japan (such as birth certificate and marriage certificate )
The proof documents are in the foreign language ( Japanese) which are translated and normalized by the firm .
The history of the living place with years ( only after age of 16)
- it is easy to forget the address of the apartment just staying for few month only temporarily
I recommend to keep any information for your past information.
- I had been noted I move 16 times in my life at that moment since born
- Guessed to see applicant’s background in geographically
(After application approved)
Finger print had taken at the local government family (Polis office in Los Angeles county)
Sent out all the police department of the each country where the applicant lived in the past.
- to Singapore , Hong Kong, Japan, in My case .
Even Hong Kong , the mail system had worked properly , I got back all the paper proof of my cleanness ( no criminal record in the past)
- the parcel from the Hong Kong Police has been delivered to my resident address in California
Those are the Proof of non criminal in the past - not only in the US of course
My US Green card seems granted at US embassy in Tokyo Japan .
