I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Old Montreal ...

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Old Montreal in October this year after season. Locals here usually start with "bonjour” but when they realize you are English speaker , they switch readily. So it allows you to feel as you are in Paris, almost. Old mixed with new buildings and the city is small enough to see large portions of it on foot - my favorite part was Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal).
