関東の皆さま、台風にお気をつけください
うちの事務所は今日から仕事でしたが、まわりはまだお盆休みのところも多いようで、近隣は閑散としていました。
お盆は過ぎたけど、亡き事務長さんにお供えをしました。今ごろ、極楽浄土でよろこんでくれているかしら？
In Buddhism, it is believed that during the Obon period, the souls of the deceased visit their living loved ones, such as their family, friends, and descendants, so we take time off and spend the period with these spirits.
Today was the first day back at the office after a week of Obon holidays, but it seemed that many nearby offices were still on break, as the area was quiet.
Although the Obon period has passed, I placed an offering for my late boss. I wonder if she is now delighted in the land where the deceased souls rest in peace.
