Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. My friend calls it "national cosplay day"
My sister and I had a party. I spent a long time playing Sengoku Basara with one of my sister's friends. I want to buy it now.
For those who do not know the origins of Halloween, I will do my best to tell you. It was based on a holiday where people put scary-looking decorations outside of their houses to scare away bad spirits. People would also dress up to look scary (also to scare bad spirits).
I am not entirely sure where the whole Trick-or-Treat thing came from, but I really wish the trick part was still followed. My friend and I went trick-or-treating and there were so many people that refuse to give out candy. For a wealthy neighborhood, there sure were a lot of cheapskates!
I know there is a recession, but they are certainly not feeling it.
Oh well. We still had fun.
