it's a strange week, there are too much works all waiting me to push. And most obviously is the 2008 Beijing Olympic CD production. It's finally going to be mastered at my new mastering home coming weekend, with the full set of Crookwood console delivered from England on this Thursday. Before that, I will need to buy at least 11 sets of DB25 to/from XLR, (total of 88 XLR connectors!!!!!) that will be the biggest setup in my life. To me, mastering is always about minimal. We want the shortest signal path, the most transparent sound. Let's see if the Crookwood is up to its reputation. If SoundMirror is okay with them, I guess I should have no problem.

Changing to a full balanced system, I believe I will miss the sound from AudioNote M6 and its colorful "tube & silver" sound.

I was listening Samuel Barber Adagio for strings this afternoon, it's one piece of music that I am addicted to. The weather is as worst as my mood. It seems things are grey and boring, hopefully the little red evening will bring me back to shape.

I guess there is a reason why I still have not release the Audiophile Jazz Prologue - Part 03. When the console is arrived, the time is finally come.
