6.30. その頃、台湾はシジミ養殖の先進国で私は調査に行った。台湾の全国のシジミ養殖場の餌は自前で研究、開発していたらしい。その様子は日本語で説明を聞いた。私はアメリカと台湾の知見からマシジミの激減は日本でも復活出来ると考えた。
6.30. At that time, Taiwan was a pioneer in clam farming, and I went there to investigate. Apparently, the feed for clam farms across Taiwan was researched and developed in-house. I heard an explanation in Japanese about this. Based on the knowledge of the US and Taiwan, I thought that the sharp decline in the clam population could be revived in Japan as well.
