A number of key rule changes that will affect ITF Pro Circuit players in 2007 are listed below for your information:



ipin Requirement
All players entering ITF Pro Circuit tournaments must have a valid ipin in 2007. Any player (including on-site alternates) who enters a tournament without a valid ipin will have his/her entry rejected.

Any player, who elects to obtain their ipin on-site, immediately prior to sign-in, does so at his/her own risk. The ITF does not accept any responsibility in the event on-site ipin issue is not possible.


ipin Online Service
All players entering ITF Pro Circuit tournaments must have paid the annual fee for the ipin Online Service. The annual ipin Fee for the 2007 Service is US$45.00.

Any player who submits an entry for a Circuit tournament, who has not paid the ipin Fee, will have his/her entry rejected. On-site alternates who sign-in for the Qualifying event, but who have not paid the ipin Fee, will be required to do so directly to the ITF Supervisor at the time of sign-in.


Historic Code of Conduct Fines
A player with outstanding fines at the end of the calendar year (i.e. fines incurred in 2006 and previous years) will not be permitted to enter any ITF Pro Circuit tournament until such time as all fines have been paid. Players will not be permitted to carry 2006 fines over into 2007.

Players are reminded that appeals against Code of Conduct fines must be submitted in writing to the ITF within ten (10) days after the last day of the tournament. Appeals that fall outside the permitted ten (10) day period will not be considered.


Code of Conduct Fines ($500 limit)
In 2007, any player with US$500 or more in unpaid fines for violations of the Code of Conduct will not be allowed to enter any ITF Pro Circuit tournament until such time as all fines have been paid.

Only when a player痴 combined total of outstanding fines is less than US$500 will he/she be permitted to pay off the fines individually.


Satellite Circuits
Effective January 2007, the ITF Men痴 Circuit will comprise $10,000 and $15,000 Futures tournaments only.

Satellite Circuits will be eliminated at the end of 2006 and will not be held in 2007.


Entry/Withdrawal Deadline
The new entry/withdrawal deadline for ITF Pro Circuit tournaments in 2007 is 14:00 hours GMT on the Tuesday thirteen (13) days prior to the Monday of the tournament week.


Dress Code
Effective 4 October 2006 the space allowed for manufacturer痴 identification on each shirt sleeve of a player competing in all ITF sanctioned and owned events, including the ITF Pro Circuit, has been increased to eight 8 square inches (52 sq.cm).

If written identification is used within this eight (8) square inches (52 sq.cm) area on either or both sleeves, such written identification may not exceed four (4) square inches (26 sq.cm) per sleeve.

The adidas ・ stripes・manufacturer痴 identification will comply with this rule beginning 1 January 2007.

National Rankings
Updated National Ranking lists, as provided to the on-site Supervisors by the ITF will be the only national ranking data permitted.
