Good afternoon. How's everything? Most of the places in Japan have hot days today.
Always ice cream is a good refreshing option for us! 
But do you know which place in Japan consume ice cream a year? Can you guess? I first thought hot places like Okinawa eat the most of it. I found an interesting article on the web, "都道府県別一世帯当たりアイスクリーム支出金額（２００８）".
The result of the deta told me that my hometown "Ishikawa" prefecture eat the most!!!! It was a big surprise for me! (その統計データによるとなんと、、私の生まれ故郷、、石川県がＮＯ１だったのです！）しかも、年間に9337円をアイスクリームに費やしているようです。
When I saw the deta, somewhat I could understand the reason why Ishikawa people eat a lot of ice cream a year, In Ishikawa has lots of rain and very humid through the year, so it maybe make peple feel needs of some cool refreshements like ice cream... (このﾃﾞｰﾀをみて私なりの予想では、きっと石川は全国の中でもかなり1年を通して雨の日など蒸している日がおおいのできっとアイスクリームのような冷たいさわやかなデザートが好まれているのかもしれませんね）
