Hi! When you hear "Tokyo popular sweet", what do you think of?(東京の有名なお菓子っていうと何を思う？？）
For me, 
TOKYO BANANA (東京ばな奈) comes to my mind. By the way, I didn't know the reason why TOKYO BANANA is sold in Tokyo as one of the well-known sweets here in Tokyo.
Do you know the reason? I researched on it. Let me introduce it to you
The man who is in charge of the Tokyo BANANA's sales department said that （菓子企画部の人のコメント）"東京は日本中の都市の中でも特に、いろんな世代・職業・個性の人々が暮らし、訪れる街です。そこで、だれにとっても懐かしいバナナのお菓子にしようと考えました"
For the old, (年配の人にとっては) Banana is one of the longing snacks (バナナは昔はなかなか食べられなかった「憧れのおやつ」). For the young, it is eaten as handy food.(若い人にとって今は手ごろな食べ物）
In other words, since everybody like it and it brings them back old memories, (誰もが親しみと懐かしさを感じる) it became a local sweet of Tokyo........ らしい・・・・
